End of Fall Book Tag | 2021

Hello, my fellow book Spirals!

This is me finally hopping on to the book tags bandwagon. It is finally November and at least where I stay, the autumn has drawn to a close and winter has rolled in. So I thought why not do an End of Fall Book tag?

The prompts have been created by me but I have definitely drawn inspiration from several others.

1. Fall is the season of transition. Name a book from a genre that you don’t read often.

Honestly I love to read books from every genre but I find myself picking up thriller and horror the least (which is such a shame). But this fall season I picked up two thriller books:

2. Fall is the time to get cozy and nostalgic. Name a book that hit you with nostalgia.

Being a massive fan of the Last Airbender cartoon from my childhood, I was beyond excited to visit the Avatar universe again with:

  • The Rise of Kyoshi by F.C. Yee
  • Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Promise (Pt 1)
  • Avatar: The Last Airbender The Lost Adventures

3. Fall season is the color of orange, red and brown. Name a book with a cover that follows this color scheme.

I can think of so many books that follow this color scheme but here are some:

  • Dark Inside by Jeyn Roberts
  • The Oath of Vayuputras by Amish Tripathi
  • Percy Jackson and the Battle of Labyrinth by Rick Riordan

4. The fall season is often associated with dark academia vibes. Name a book that you have read that matches the vibe.

This book isn’t exactly dark academia but definitely gives off the same vibes with a nuclear disaster and being surrounded by nuclear physicists.

5. Halloween is the highlight of fall season. Name a book that gives a spooky or a gothic vibe.

  • The Institute by Stephen King
  • After Dark by Haruki Murakami
And with that we come to an end of the book tag. I would love to tag some of my fellow book bloggers that I follow:
  1. Kristin @Kristin Kraves Books
  2. Riddhi @Whispering Stories
  3. Joanna @TheGeekishBrunette
  4. Zezee @Zezee with Books
  5. Anyone else who wants to try it out!

I have also linked the reviews that I have posted for any of the books mentioned in this book tag. Feel free to check them out!

Thanks for the tag!! I will certainly do it too. Fall is still in full swing where I am 🙂
And I’d like to get into those Avatar books too. I loved the show and keep buying the books but have yet to start reading.
