Hello, my fellow Spirals!
WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. The three Ws are:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

Christmas in the Scottish Highlands (Donna Ashcroft)
As the book cover sees, it is a heart warming and cozy romance book set during Christmas. When Belle crashes into an old lady, Edina, and renders her injured, she moves into her house to take care of her. Slowly she realizes how lonely Edina must be and looks for ways to lighten up her Christmas. But Edina’s grandson, Jack, an arrogant, rude and bossy lawyer is convinced that Belle is going to ruin the holidays and steal from her grandmother.
At least that’s what I have gathered so far from the story. I know I am not a huge fan of romance but I was really in the mood for a Christmas book. Plus from what I have read in the reviews it has way more depth than just a simple romance. So fingers crossed!

The Code Book (Simon Singh)
Yes, I have been reading this book since last week. I have had a lot going on this week so I barely read this book and don’t think I will be finishing it anytime soon.
This is a non-fiction all about cryptography, enciphering and cryptanalysis. I am genuinely interest in this topic so let’s see when I’ll finish it.

An Absolutely Remarkable Thing (Hank Green)
Without spoiling anything, this book is a quirky, unsettling sci-fi book. Jump into this book blindly without any idea about the story.
I definitely had high expectations from this book. At several parts of the book I was shook but overall the book didn’t deliver on what it should have.

The Kite Runner (Khaled Hosseini)
This was a re-read for me and BOY DOES IT STILL BREAK ME?! Anyone who hasn’t read this book, please pick it up. Oh and keep a box of tissues ready.
This story is of two Afghan boys from different parts of the society who are best friends. But when Amir, the wealthy boy, witnesses a horrifying incident that involves Hassan, the son of the servant, it sets the course of their life in a completely different directions and goes on to shape them in unimaginable ways.

Station Eleven (Emily St. John Mandel)
This is me going in the opposite direction of the cozy Christmas vibes. All I know is that this book is about an epidemic(?)
Anyways, I am not entirely sure if I’ll be picking up next. It will be entirely up to my mood and on which book I finish first.
