Hello, my fellow Spirals!
WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. The three Ws are:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

The Gene – Siddhartha Mukherjee
Yes I am still reading it guys 😂 You are going to be seeing this every WWW Wednesday post for the next few weeks because this is a chunky book. I really like reading this but I feel like the need to pick it up often is dwindling. (Goodreads)

The Ones We Keep – Bobbie Jean Huff
This is an ARC I received from NetGalley that has been published on 18th Jan. Unfortunately the book to review is getting archived on the website on 24th Jan so I am definitely rushing to finish it.
I am in the very start of the book and honestly don’t remember requesting for the book and don’t know the story either. (Goodreads)

Sourdough – Robin Sloan
If you follow me on Goodreads then you know that I found this book…mediocre. It took a direction that I wasn’t expecting to and honestly didn’t vibe with. Nevertheless, I loved what the book stood for.
Basically it’s about a Lois, who also happens to be a programmer, that regularly orders Sourdough from a nearby restaurant. But the restaurant owners have to move to another country due to VISA issues so they give the Sourdough starter as a gift to their #1 eater. Soon she ends up finding a passion for baking, ends up making amazing sourdough bread and is currently looking for ways to enter the market. (Goodreads)

Uglies – Scott Westerfeld
I blame making Books Unbound Podcast for making me want to re-read this 😂 I remember liking this book when I was 14-15 yrs old but I didn’t find the sequel to read so I dropped the series after that. But this re-read for me wasn’t as likeable as before. Obviously YA and fantasy are two of my least favorite genres so it makes total sense. However, this book is still really great and would recommend it to anyone!
This book is basically about a futuristic world where people have to get surgically altered into a “Pretty” which fits a specific set of criteria for being deemed “beautiful”. It involves getting plastic skin, crushing or stretching bones, changing your physique and everything. Tally Youngblood can’t wait to turn Pretty but when her new best friend, Shay, escapes the operation and disappears, she is forced to follow her and ends up uncovering dark secrets about the operation. (Goodreads)
To all readers who loved The Hunger Games or Divergent, this is a PERFECT pick.

100 things We’ve Lost To The Internet – Pamela Paul
I don’t have any particular reason for picking this up except that I need an audiobook to listen to at night and this piqued my interest. (Goodreads)
