Hello my fellow readers!
I am so glad to have you here.
Having been an avid reader for the past few years and especially during the lockdown, I am quite excited to embark on this journey to share my reviews on the books I read, recommend some interesting books and read some of your recommendations as well.
First let me introduce myself. I am Harini, a 20 year old college student and a massive bookworm. I am also an Indian who happens to be pursuing Computer Science in my final year of Undergraduate degree.
I have been reading pretty much since I was five years old and grown to have quite a diverse taste. My reading journey started with kid’s magazines like Magic Pot and Champak followed by short novels like Famous Five and Secret Seven by Enid Blyton. But my true love for reading was cemented when I read the Harry Potter books (honestly is it even surprising?). Once I started college, I couldn’t allot time for reading and lost a major hobby. However, lockdown helped me get in touch with my reader side once again and since then I have been obsessed with reading.
I am someone who reads pretty much anything and everything. Some of my most sought after genres are: science fiction, contemporary fiction, historical fiction, memoirs, science related books and thrillers.
What To Expect
With the help of this blog, I want to engage with more people and share my thoughts about the books I read. I would love to encourage new readers to pick up books that are more suitable for them and which can encourage them to read more.
I also want to expand my reading tastes so I would definitely aim to pick up more obscure titles and provide you all with new books to add to your (never ending) TBR pile.
With my reviews, I am going to be brutally honest about what I liked and disliked. But keep in mind that what I state on this blog is just my personal opinion and that shouldn’t stop you from picking it up or loving the book!
Along with that I would absolutely love to hear your thoughts regarding any of the books mentioned and would totally appreciate any new recommendations you might have for me.
